Movie: The Odd Life of
Timothy Green

Synopsis: Cindy and Jim Green
(Jennifer Garner and Joel Edgerton) are a couple living in a small Ohio town –
the Pencil Capital of the World. As much as they want to, they have been unable
to have children. A mysterious storm
comes along and the next morning, a 10-year-old boy pops out of the ground –
with leaves growing out of his legs. They decide that they were meant to be his
parents and set about trying to raise him.
The movie follows them as the ‘parents’ try to teach the boy life
lessons – he ends up teaching them more.
My two cents: This had its
moments, but not enough to satisfy me. It
just did not keep my attention enough.
