Due Date

Movie: Due Date
Cast: Robert Downey Jr., Zach Galifianakis, Jamie Fox, Danny McBride, Michelle Monaghan
Genre: comedy, road trip
I saw it on: November 11, 2010
Synopsis: Peter Highman is at an airport to fly back to Los Angeles in time to see his child born.  His problem is that his path crosses with Ethan (Zach Galifianakis).  Ethan is a walking disaster.  Come anywhere near him and bad luck will hit you.  Peter is forced hitch a ride with Ethan to get back to L.A.  Their routes is a bit of a zig-zag with everything going wrong that could possible go wrong.

My two cents: If you are a Zach Galifianakis fan, you will like this movie.  It is funny and inventive in coming up with improbable ways for Ethan to totally screw things up. Robert Downey is great as the unfortunate recipient of Ethan’s bad karma.  Jamie Fox and and Danny McBride have some great, but brief, appearances. I was expecting a lot more profanity in the movie.  The movie was a lot more fun than I expected.
