Synopsis: Red is an acronym for Retired and Extremely Dangerous.  This is how one describes Frank Moses (Bruce Willis), Marvin Boggs (John Malkovich), Joe Matheson (Morgan Freeman) and Sarah Ross (Helen Mirren).  These four are retired spy-types.  When someone tries to eliminate Frank, he calls in his old buddies for help to get to the bottom of things.

My two cents: This movie was great fun.  By far, my favorite Red was Helen Mirren’s character –  her specialty was “wet ops”.  She still dabbles in the business by making an occasional hit just to keep from getting bored.  A good entertaining movie with a lot of bullets flying and lots of things blowing up. 

Much better than I expected.
