Synopsis: Lara Brennan (Elizabeth Banks) is convicted and sentenced to prison for a murder that she did not commit. When it looks like she is being transferred to another prison, her husband John (Russell Crowe) decides to break her out of prison.
What follows is a pretty intense three days of action.
My two cents: This movie was a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. While some of the story was a bit implausible, it was a lot of fun. There was a lot of action and a lot of intense nail-biting action. Whether or not a typical husband could pull off this escape is debatable – but then the typical husband is not Russell Crowe. A movie worth seeing.
