Movie: Tangled 3D
Voices: Mandy Moore (Rapunzel), Zachary Levi (Flynn Ryder)
Genre: animated fantasy
I saw it on: November 30, 2010
Synopsis: Disney’s version of Rapunzel. Rapunzel has enchanted hair that can heal and restore a peson’s youth. A wicked witch kidnaps the infant Princess Rapunzel so that she (the witch) will never grow old. She keeps her hidden in – you guessed it – a tower. Along comes the thief Flynn. He strikes a bargain to take Rapunzel from the tower to travel to the kingdom. Naturally, n’er do-wells and the evil witch are in pursuit.
My two cents: An entertaining movie. Some nice visuals and a lot of laughs. Nothing extraordinary. My favorite parts were Rapunzel using her air as a weapon, escape tool . . . you name it, she can use her hair to do it. I don’t know that it is worth the extra money – and hassle – to see it in 3D.
