Movie: Somers Town
I saw it on: September 13, 2009
Cast: Piotr Jagiello, Ireneusz Czop, Elisa Lasowski
Genre: Comedy, Drama
Synopsis: A black and white movie, it follows two British teenagers. One is a Polish immigrant and the other a runaway. Their activities range from petty theft to vying for the attention of a beautiful French waitress in a café to discovering the pitfalls of getting drunk.
My two cents: As with most British films, it took me about 15 minutes before I could adjust to the heavy accents and follow the dialog. It was interesting – but I did not find it worth the price of admission.
